Out of the blue, a growing number of people around the planet turn homicidal, with no explanation. And it's spreading, infecting more and more people every day. Society changes, and one man's family life falls to pieces. This isn't exactly zombies, but it's close enough that anybody who likes zombie stories will enjoy this. It's a terrifying first person perspective that takes the topic in a completely different direction than most books in this genre. I can't say too much without ruining some great twists, but the story really rocked me. This is the first book in a series of three.
